David was born and raised in Coventry, RI, where his immediate family still resides. He is a proud graduate of Johnson & Wales University and has dedicated over 30 years to the restaurant industry. Before joining The Smoke Shop BBQ, David worked for Outback Steakhouse, where he opened over 30 new locations and gained extensive experience in restaurant operations and leadership.
As the General Manager of our Methuen location, David is responsible for the daily operations, ensuring top-tier hospitality and an exceptional dining experience for every guest. His leadership fosters a welcoming and high-energy environment for both staff and guests alike.

Favorite thing about BBQ: David loves the intense flavors that are infused into different cuts of meat. He finds it incredibly rewarding to serve great food and hear positive feedback from guests.

Where you can find him on a day off: When he’s not at the restaurant, David spends quality time with his family. In the warmer months, you’ll likely find him on the golf course enjoying a round in the sunshine.
