First time at the Assembly Row location – it’s great! Smoke Shop has its own building, with a cool aesthetic and fun design/decor. The cocktail and beer menu is really deep with lots of terrific options. And the food was delish. The “famous” wings are deservedly famous – they are, honestly, the best wings I’ve ever had. Nicely smoked with a yummy spiced agave drizzle. Pulled pork, ribs and brisket were all really moist and very tasty. The sides rocked, too – corn bread and Brussels are worth it!!

A taste of Texas BBQ, right here at home in Boston. We were in the mood for some southern cooking! The Smoke Shop BBQ in Kendall was our stop – and even my bf (who is picky about his Texas BBQ) admitted this was pretty good! We started with the Saturday beef rib special, along with some brisket. The meat was tender, flavorful and you could tell these guys knew what they doing. We paired the meat with Mac and cheese and collard greens, which both brought a great balance to the flavor. The order was so delicious that we made more add ons with pork ribs and chicken wings. Worth a stop in if you’re craving for some legit BBQ!

SO ALLERGY FRIENDLY! As a diner with severe allergies to eggs, peanuts, and tree nuts, it is hard to find restaurants that are as allergy-conscious as Smoke Shop. They have a whole separate menu labeled with all allergens (top 7) and modifications that can be made. My server made me feel so safe and comfortable whole time dining at the restaurant, checking with the chefs for everything I asked. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Will be back! Can’t recommend enough to anyone with dietary restrictions!

Chef Andy Husbands put on a fabulous 5 course vegan BBQ dinner.
Manager Paul treated me like a queen.
The food! The service! What a treat! Who would expect wonderful vegan food from a BBQ restaurant? Who would expect world class service?
To quote Arnold (also vegan) “I’ll be back!”

Our Smoke Shop catering for our work party was a huge hit and loved by everyone–brisket, burnt ends, & pulled pork were all so delicious, corn bread was great, and the mac ‘n cheese was super creamy and a nice relief from the typically dried out mac ‘n cheese that most restaurants serve (*Tip – putting any of these meats IN your mac ‘n cheese is such a great idea). The only bad part of the food was when it was all gone!
