Get hands-on with brisket mastery as Pitmaster and BBQ champ Andy Husbands teaches you how to trim, butcher, and inject your very own brisket. You’ll finish it on Saturday and take the whole thing home with you.
You’ll also:
– Create your own signature BBQ rub after learning the secrets behind a variety of regional rub styles.
– Enjoy a fried chicken dinner with all the fixings.
– Enjoy a guided tasting of whiskeys, including The Smoke Shop BBQ’s own Private Barrel selection, paired with a specialty cocktail presentation.
Day 2: Saturday, January 10th — 11:30 AM–2:00 PM
Return for a deep dive into brisket: from smoking techniques to wrapping and slicing, Andy will break it all down with an in-depth demo.
Next up:
– A blind brisket tasting where you’ll sample each participant’s brisket and cast your vote for the top contender. The winner takes home a shiny trophy and bragging rights.
– A feast featuring your own brisket, paired with all the fixings from The Smoke Shop kitchen.
– Wrap up the day by taking your brisket masterpiece—and some legendary pit-side stories—home to impress your crew.
