Although she was born in Boston, Stephanie grew up in Manson, NC, before moving to Houston, TX, and completing her college degree in sports therapy. Stephanie started her family in Houston as well as her restaurant career. She worked for numerous well-known restaurants in Houston before moving back to Boston to be closer to her family. Taking a break from the industry, Stephanie worked as a residential counselor for children before making her return to the industry she missed so much. With her dedication to quality and hospitality, she worked her way up to management positions and hasn’t looked back since.

As the General Manager of our Harvard Square location, Stephanie’s main responsibilities include creating a culture of hospitality and all facets of daily operations: food quality, guest relations, and a positive staff environment. She’s a dedicated leader, developing her team and having fun at the same time.

Favorite thing about BBQ: Being the Southern Gal that she is, the 1st best thing about BBQ is the smell. The next best thing is the taste. Thinking about it makes her mouth water every time.

Favorite thing about working for The Smoke Shop: The people! The group of people she works with are some of the best that she’s worked with in a long time. She looks forward to coming in every day. This is a company that not only cares about the people that work here but also about the people in the community. Getting to eat food that she loves helps out too.

Where we can find her on a day off: Either with her daughter and grandchildren or watching whatever sport is airing at the time. September – February, you will find her watching football. LET’S GO, PATRIOTS!
