Hailing from a Navy family in Connecticut and a mama with southern roots, CJ moved to Boston in the early 2000’s to receive several degrees from Simmons College. With two decades of hospitality experience, CJ has worked for multiple BBQ pitmasters and traversed the Boston restaurant scene, including bartending for Andy Husbands’ last restaurant, Tremont 647.
As the Catering and Events Manager, CJ brings hospitality to all of our on and off-site events. CJ works closely with our culinary teams and restaurant managers and is involved in all of the aspects of your food service and party planning. Whether it is taking care of a large order for pick up or delivery, hosting a party at your home or venue, or designing a special event at one of our Smoke Shop locations, CJ will make sure your next celebration is a special one.

Favorite thing about working at the Smoke Shop: Showing up with the mobile smoker rig somewhere else. We just feel like rockstars!
Where you can find her on a day off: Jumping on the trampoline with my four little girls at my home on the South Shore, laughing with my husband, and playing with my dog, Pocket.
Another fun fact: CJ is a certified cicerone!
