We’re taking exclusivity to the next level with this Whiskey Dinner. Known for their rare barrel-strength bourbon, Booker’s is hard to come by and their lack of self-promotion and advertising makes them a truly hidden gem in the world of whiskey. Only genuine bourbon drinkers know about this one. Being a sixth-generation master distiller straight out of Kentucky, Booker himself coined the term “small batch.” He set the precedent for distillers around the world that focusing on the sweet spot of the rickhouse, where the temperature and humidity stars align, is where your bourbon will exhibit the deepest and most intense flavor.
Spirits Educator, Patrick Gaggiano, will elevate our experience while tasting two different Booker’s releases and a Little Book release. With only a few batches released every year, we will collectively try these rare, high-proof libations. Patrick will help us decipher the aromas, flavor notes, and finishes of each bourbon, while enlightening us on how to properly sip a bourbon as special as this one. Awarded top bourbon in “Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible 2016,” and on Food & Wine Magazine’s list of “The 25 Most Important Bourbons Ever Made,” Booker’s is simply unmatched.
