Born in Santiago, Chile and raised in Rhode Island, Laura moved to Boston after attending The New School to attend Berklee College of Music. After touring with multiple bands all over the Northeast, Laura started working as a hostess and found her calling in the hospitality industry. Her past experience includes work at Gaslight Brasserie and with Himmel Hospitality Group, most recently as the Private Dining Manager for Post 390. After a few years of planning events in downtown Boston, Laura decided that it was time for a new adventure and has been with the Smoke Shop team since day one.


As our Catering Sales Director, Laura handles all catering and private events inquiries and is ready to plan and provide any BBQ lover with a fantastic event experience. Whether you’re looking for lunch for your office or planning a large wedding, Laura’s ready to help you pick the perfect menu for you and your guests.

What she loves most about working for The Smoke Shop:My favorite thing about my job is bringing BBQ to all sorts of events and seeing how happy it makes everyone, whether it’s a wedding, corporate lunch, birthday party, or really any event you can imagine.


Where you can find her on a day off: On my days off, you can usually find me watching Star Wars, playing pinball, or on a quick excursion out of state.


Favorite thing to cook:A big, juicy steak (rare please).
