Experience the Kentucky Derby like a Southerner: eating American BBQ and sipping a bourbon cocktail.

On Saturday, May 6th between 4 pm and 7 pm, we are turning our bar area into Churchill Downs to celebrate the Greatest Two Minutes in Sports.

We’ll be serving a special menu of appetizers that include:

• Crab Cakes
• BBQ Bourbon Shrimp
• Deviled Eggs with Pickled Asparagus
• City Ham on Tiny Biscuits
• Cheese and Crackers
• Special Dessert, Derby Pies.

In addition to lots of different juleps, our bar team will be mixing up the “Day-Drinking Sweet Tea” from Andy’s new book Pitmaster. There will be bourbon and American whiskey galore thanks to our 150+ bourbons and whiskeys.

The best part is that our friends over at Bulleit Frontier Whiskey will be here; handing out prizes, buying drinks and making sure that everyone has a good time.

Who makes the area’s best mint julep? We’re going to find out during the Bulleit Julep Derby: a live bartender competition featuring 4 bartenders from area restaurants!

Our nine TV’s will be showing all the live action from the day so you won’t miss a thing. Weather-permitting, our patio will be open with viewing capability of seeing the races from there.
