Originally from Western Massachusetts, Aimee Magner travelled all over as part of an army family before graduating from UMass Boston. Her 30 years of hospitality industry experience include working as Director of Training and Recruiting for Back Bay Restaurant Group and she most recently was a part of the team behind re-opening Brighton’s iconic Stockyard restaurant.

As our VP of Operations, she helps new and old members of the Smoke Shop crew bring the celebratory nature of BBQ to new heights with amazing food and knowledgeable service. She brings a wealth of experience and a passion for training and hospitality to our ever-growing team.

Favorite thing about working for The Smoke Shop: I love the energy that surrounds the Smoke Shop concepts, the smiling staff, and the guests’ reactions as they take that first bite of brisket.

Where you can find her on a day off: Spending time with my friends, family, and rescue dog Darla – and planning my next trip to anywhere oceanside!

What she does best: I’m known for my amazing playlists and my shrimp ceviche.
