Shelby Grenier

With a big personality and 15 years of restaurant experience, Shelby Grenier is the Marketing and Special Events Manager for The Smoke Shop BBQ restaurants. She joined the team in early April after working for Pitmaster Andy Husbands over the last 5 years at his beloved South End bistro, Tremont 647. Shelby, creator of @thesmokeshopbbqpig on Instagram and the Smoke Shop’s mascot, handles day to day Marketing across all platforms. She is in charge of social media, bi-weekly emailers and in-house promotion, keeping the brand consistent across locations. Michael Boughton

The newest member of our team is Beverage Director Michael Boughton. Michael started his career in Connecticut where he grew up working for a privately-owned restaurant and started his boozy journey. After gaining some experience behind the bar, Boughton worked his way up the restaurant chain and landed his first bartending job at 21 years old. Pitmaster Will Salazar (Husbands’ right hand) is Chef De Cuisine and Director of day to day culinary operations at The Smoke Shop BBQ restaurants. Originally from Mayport, Florida, Salazar knew from a young age he was meant to be in the kitchen. Ian Grossman brings almost 30 years of experience to his role as Director of Operations and Partner of The Smoke Shop. A Chicago native, Grossman spent the first 15 years of his career working in the kitchen, training at the Five-Star Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City, Utah, The Pierre Hotel in NYC and celebrity Chef Eric Ripert’s Le Bernardin, before graduating with honors from the Culinary Institute of America in 1999.
